41 Companies in West Jakarta Closed Temporarily

West Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration (Nakertrans) and Energy Sub-agency noted that 41 companies have closed temporarily since April 14 because the companies are not included in the sector which allowed to operate in Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 33/2020 concerning Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) Implementation in DKI Jakarta.

West Jakarta Nakertrans and Energy Sub-agency Head, Ahmad Ya'la mentioned, his side has visited 141 companies to check whether the companies are implementing Pergub No.33/2020 or not.

"From total 141 companies we monitored, 41 of them are closed temporarily because they didn't include in the excluded sector," he stated, Wednesday (5/13).

Again, Nakertrans Agency Conducts PSBB Sweeping in East Jakarta

According to him, there are 17 companies which are not allowed to operate according to Pergub No. 33/2020 but have permit for operational and mobility activities (IOMK) from Industry Ministry (Kemenperin) and required to implement health protocol such as maintaining physical distance, implementing work from home, checking body temperature, providing hand sanitizer and hand washing facilities, and others.

"There are 81 companies that are allowed to operate and 2 companies have moved. Those who are operating have implemented health protocols," he added.

Since the implementation of PSBB, West Jakarta Nakertrans and Energy Sub-agency has monitored and controlled companies in the region routinely. It is done to ensure all industrial sites and companies to comply with Pergub No. 33/2020.
